Leslie Cheney-Parr is a passionate landscape painter and printmaker, dedicated to capturing the beauty of nature through her artwork. Each piece showcases her unique style and meticulous attention to detail, bringing the surroundings to life. Her limited edition prints allow art enthusiasts the opportunity to own a slice of her creative vision.
Leslie Cheney-Parr : Leslie was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. She has a love of the out-of-doors and her growing up experiences introduced her to sailing, camping and hiking which are all recorded in her sketch books. She studied art at the University of California at Berkeley, graduating with a BA in fine art and an MA in studio practice. She taught adults and community college for over 30 years, teaching in California and then in Oregon before retiring to paint full time. She has signature status in three Nationally recognized groups: California Watercolor Association, Watercolor West and with the Rocky Mountain National Watercolor. Locally she has signature status with the Watercolor Society of Oregon. She has work with several juried venues: The Portland Art Museum Rental Sales Gallery, The Clackamas County Art Association and with the Lake Area Artists.
